Elizabeth married her husband, Micah, in 2012, and together they have built a life centered around family, resilience, and service. After welcoming their firstborn in 2015, their journey took them to the UK for four years through Micah’s career in the U.S. Air Force, a path that has allowed their family to experience life in many different places.

After returning to Texas, Elizabeth and Micah decided to grow their family once more and welcomed their son, Landon, in 2020. During pregnancy, they learned that Landon would be born with right-sided congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). The devastating diagnosis and subsequent NICU journey forever changed their lives.

Through their experience with CDH, Elizabeth discovered a deep passion for supporting other families facing the same diagnosis. Over the past several years, she has dedicated her time to encouraging and walking alongside newly diagnosed CDH families during some of their most difficult moments.

Elizabeth is honored and excited to begin this new chapter with The CDH Foundation and looks forward to continuing to support, advocate for, and bring hope to families navigating a CDH diagnosis.
